Energy Express
Opportunities 
Energy Express service/ employment opportunities are now available for the 2016 Marlinton Elementary Energy Express Site for one site supervisor, four mentors, and one community coordinator. For more information about this program, contact the WVU Pocahontas Coun-ty Extension Office at 304-799-4852 or visit the Energy Express website at energyex press.wvu.edu
Application deadlines are February 19 for the site supervisor position, and March 1 for the mentor and community coordinator positions.
 
 4-H Posters and Photos
The entries in the 2016 4-H Poster Contest and Photo Event are on display now through February 25 at the McClintic Library in Marlinton.  Everyone is invited to stop by and view the entries.
 
Winter Educational
Dinner Meeting
Kay Johnson will be the speaker for the Winter Educational Dinner Meeting, Tuesday, February 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the Marlinton Municipal audiorium.
To attend the meeting you must RSVP to the Pocahontas County Extension Office by calling 304-799-4852 by Friday, February 12. For those who would like dinner, there will be a $3 charge to help cover the cost.

 Master Gardener sign-up
Sign-up now for this spring’s West Virginia Master Gardener Training Course.  The course, sponsored by the WVU Extension Service, now requires a total of 40 hours of classroom training.  The schedule will be announced following sign-up. 
Ten participants are need-ed in order to offer the course.
Cost for the course will be $75, and the sign-up deadline is Friday, February 19.   For more information, call the WVU Extension Office at 304-799-4852.

Regular Sale – Saturday, April 2, 2 p.m.
Spring Calf Sale – Friday, April 8, 7:30 p.m.
