In mid-July, retired attorney and Eureka Farm owner Martin Saffer sent in a photo of his impressive pole bean patch. He heavily mulched the area with straw, erected the poles and he had no weeds, just a sea of beans. Above, Saffer is now climbing the ladder of a successful harvest.
