Oat Praline Cookies

1 cup butter, softened
1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. maple extract
1 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 cups quick or old-fashioned oats
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
3/4 cup pecan halves
In a large bowl, on medium speed, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs, molasses and maple extract; beat well.
Add flour and baking soda; mix well.
Stir in oats and chopped pecans.
Cover the dough and chill in the fridge for at least one hour.
Preheat oven to 350º.
Lightly grease cookie sheets with butter flavored PAM.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place 3 inches apart on cookie sheets.
Press a pecan half in the center of each.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
Transfer to wire racks to cool.
4 dozen cookies.
