Country Sausage
Au Gratin

1 lb. smoked or kielbasa sausage cut into 1/2 inch slices
1 large onion, sliced
1 Tbsp. Crisco oil
1 box au gratin or scalloped potatoes
2 3/4 cups hot water
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 medium carrots, julienned
10 oz. frozen broccoli, drained
1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
Cook sausage and onion in hot oil in a 10-inch skillet for about 10 minutes.
Add potatoes, sauce mix, pepper and water.
Cover and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add carrots.
Cover and cook 10 minutes.
Add broccoli and cheese, and cook until the cheese melts.
Serves 4 to 6.
Broiled Treet ‘n Cheese Sandwich

12 oz. can of Treet, chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup mayonnaise
5 hamburger buns, split
Combine Treet, cheese and vegetables together.
Stir in mayonnaise.
Put 1/4 cup on each bun half.
Broil 8 to 10 inches from heat until hot and bubbling, about 5 minutes
