Wanda Lou Harris, age 59, of Marlinton, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at her home after years of battling multiple health issues.
She was born and raised in Ellicott City, Maryland.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Elizabeth McDaniel; two sisters, Patty Smith and Mary Wertz; and a brother, Rodney McDaniel.
She leaves behind a daughter, Tonya Lynn Redmond, of Marlinton; two sons, Vernon Lee Jessen III, of Staunton, Virginia, and John Thomas Bowgus, of Missouri; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bobbi Terry and JoAnn McDaniels, both of Ellicott City, Maryland; a brother, Mickey McDaniel, of Ellicott City, Maryland; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Marlinton, and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Ellicott City, Maryland, for her family.

Wanda will be greatly missed by her children and granddaughters, Makeneie, Kendra, Brooklyn and Miley.
