Walter Franklin “Bud” McMillion, Sr., age 78, of Marlinton, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015, at his home.
Born July 29, 1936, in Marlinton, he was a son of the late Walter Ray and Ollie Cochran McMillion.
Walter had worked as a night watchman for Hanover Shoe Company and W. M. Cramer Lumber Company.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; and five sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Shaffer McMillion; four daughters, Crystal Circosta, and husband, Denton, of Stony Bottom, Tina Scarletta, of Maryland, Jennie Shifflett, and husband, Sonny, of Masontown, and Loretta Finch, of Maryland; four sons, Thomas McMillion, and wife, Sheila, Steven McMillion and Doug McMillion, all of Marlinton, and Walter F. McMillion, Jr., of Maryland; two sisters, Jean McKinney, of Edray, and Jewell McMillion, of Lewisburg; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The body was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
