Loran Kelly

Loran O. Kelley, age 92, of Green Bank, died Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Nella’s Nursing Home, Inc., in Elkins.

Born August 2, 1922, at Jane Lew, he was a son of the late Eugene and Anna Clark Kelley.

Loran was a retired assembly line worker for Ford Motor Company and served in the United States Navy during World War II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lettie Hamrick Kelley; a son, Charles Kelley; and two daughters, Connie Kundrat and Marie Oliverie.

He is survived by a daughter, Margaret Kelley, of Eastlake, Ohio; sisters, Lou Smith and Ruth Saunders, both of Ohio, and Annette Leza, of Texas; a brother, Walter Kelley, of Marlinton; daughter-in-law, Pat Kelley; a special niece, Tammy Hudak; and lots of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

Funeral service was July 18 at VanReenen Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Goldizen officiating. Interment was Mountain View Cemetery with Military Rites by the Pocahontas County Veteran Honor Corps.
