Walter McClure

Walter Claude McClure, 73, of Hillsboro, died Monday, April 26, 2021, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

Born August 2, 1947, at Renick, he was a son of the late Boyce and Goldie North McClure.

Walter worked at Denmar Hospital and ITL.

In addition to his parent, he was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Loudermilk, Birdie Sears and Vertie Rose; and brothers, Cecil, Norman and Henry McClure.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Lou Fowler McClure; sons, James B. McClure, Stacy L. McClure and Christopher S. McClure; sisters, Roxie Hume, Linda Hannah, Debbie Whitlock and Brenda Floyd; and brother, Dale McClure.

Per his request, the body was cremated and there will be no service.

VanReenen Funeral Home in Marlinton is in charge of the arrangements.
