Thomas James Oscar, age 62, of Marlinton, died Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Lewis Gale Alleghany Hospital in Low Moor, Virginia.
Born December 13, 1952, in Marlinton, he was a son of Nellie Marie Potter Oscar, and the late Roy Oscar.
Thomas was a disabled sawmill worker.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Susan Carr, Wilma Underwood and Patty Turbyfill; and brothers, Roy W. Oscar and Ray Oscar.
Per his wishes the body was cremated and no service will be held.
Arrangements are being handled by VanReenen Funeral Home.
