The Division of Highways advises that there will be a temporary closure of Pocahontas County Route 29, known as Lobelia Road, near Droop Mountain State Park, beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, July 23. The road will reopen Monday, July 30, at 7 p.m.
The closure will occur at Milepost 3.91, approximately 1.70 miles north of Pocahontas County Route 29/5, Jacox Road.
The closure is necessary for a drainage structure replacement.
The roadway will be closed to all traffic.
The traveling pubic is advised to use an alternate route during this time.
