Tammy Jean Oxier, 53, of Durbin, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at her home.
Born January 1, 1968, in Elkins, she was a daughter of Betty J. Oxier, of Durbin, and the late Earl K. Oxier.
Tammy was a devoted CNA and Home Health Aide.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her uncle, Ricky Barkley; and aunt, Vicky Barkley.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her companion of 37 years, Norman Vance, of Durbin; sisters, Connie (Robert) Greulick, of Frank, and Anna (Mark) Kane, of Durbin; brother, Lee (Jessica) Oxier, of Durbin; nieces, Shawnee (Rick) Morgan, of Elkins, Marka Kane (Travis), and Hallie Kane, all of Durbin; nephew Tommy Greulick, of Durbin; special nephew, Ricky Barkley II (Jasmine), of Durbin; and aunt, Cindy Barkley (Rick), of Durbin. Tammy was the aunt/godmother of Shawnee (Rick) Morgan’s children, Erika and RJ Morgan, all of Elkins.
Funeral service was held Saturday, March 6, 2021, at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastor David Rittenhouse officiating. Burial was in the Arbovale Annex Cemetery.
