Susan L. Rosenfield Myers, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by family and went to be with the Lord Friday, March 7, 2025.
Susan was born October 27, 1946, in York, Pennsylvania, and was a daughter of the late Carlton K. and Ruth L. Rosenfield.
Susan was a 1964 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and the School of Mechanical Drawing in Hagerstown, Maryland.
She worked for PA&S Small in York, Pennsylvania, and volunteered for New Hope Ministries in Dover, Pennsylvania, for 17 years. Above all, she was a loving stay at home mother to her sons, Timothy and Patrick.
Anyone who knew Susan, would not soon forget her. Her passion for enjoying life and making friends was a huge part of her legacy. She had a big heart and touched so many people throughout her life. Some of her favorite things were Barry Manilow concerts, attending record shows, going to the beach, and visiting her husband Wayne’s family in Green Bank. She considered them to be her own family and dearly loved them. More recently, she began attending LCBC Church in Hanover where she made many friends.
Most important to her was the time spent with her beloved great-grandson, Harlen. Nothing brightened her day, lifted her spirits or touched her soul like spending time with him.
Susan will be deeply missed by many for her spirit, generosity and faithfulness to those she loved.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Wayne Myers; sons Timothy E. Myers (Danielle) and Patrick R. Myers; granddaughter, Cortney M. Zellers (Parker); and great-grandson, Harlen M. Zellers.
Funeral service was held Friday, March 14, 2025, at Hope Grace Church in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania.
A special thank you to granddaughter Cortney Zellers and niece Lori Baumgartner for helping care for Susan over the last several weeks. The family also sends its gratitude to all who visited and provided meals and support to the family during this time.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to New Hope Ministries, 62 North Main Street, Dover PA 17315.
