The West Virginia High School and Youth Rodeo Association invites you to attend the Sinking Springs Farms Rodeo at 253 Dick McNeel Road in Hillsboro, Saturday and Sunday, October 7 and 8.
The Sinking Springs Farms Rodeo is open to children, ages three through seniors in high school. All non-members of the WVHSRA must have a parent/guardian release form to participate.
The events will include barrels, poles, goats, team roping, break away, bulls, dummy roping and mutton busting.
There will be payouts on Junior High and High School events.
Negative Coggins are required. There will be a veterinarian on site to check Coggins.
The entry fee is $25 per event.
Gate admission: $8 adult; $4 for children.
The gates will open at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The rodeo will begin in the early afternoon.
The gates will open at 8 a.m. Sunday with Cowboy Church by Skeeter Workman at 9 a.m.
The rodeo will begin at 10 a.m.
The Viney Mountain Bluegrass Boys will perform Saturday night at 8 p.m. The entertainment is free if you entered the rodeo. There will be a $5 cover if you just come to see the band.
