Shirley Louise Scott, age 76, of Ronceverte, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea.

Born November 12, 1939, in Renick’s Valley, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie Warren and Gertrude Mae North King.

Shirley attended Ronceverte Christian Church and was a retired certified nursing assistant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Paul Scott, Sr.; and a brother, Eugene King.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Campbell, and husband, Jody, Ellen Miller, and husband, Darrell, all of Ronceverte, and Sue Scott, of Charleston; sons, Doug Scott, of Hillsboro, Henry “Bo” Scott, Jr., of Ronceverte, and Gary Scott, and wife, Connie, of Thornburg, Virginia; grandchildren, Chrissy Campbell- Butler, Mike Campbell, and wife, Misty, Matt Campbell, and wife, Tiffany, Sara Campbell, Ben Hinkle, Luke Hinkle, Jesse Hinkle, and wife, Katy, Cody Scott, and wife, Jessica, Kayla Scott, and husband, Dusty, Logan Scott, Jacob Scott, Michael Kyle Hanna, Tyler Hanna, Kelsie Tyson, Kassidy Tyson and Shania Boggs; great-grandchildren, Brandon Persinger, and wife, Mattie, Brittany Persinger, Ceara Campbell, Ryan Campbell, Ethan Butler, Jakob Campbell, David Campbell and Axton Scott; a great-great-grandchild, Aubree Hurley; three sisters-in-law; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends Thursday, March 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte. Funeral service is Friday, March 25, 1 p.m. at the Ronceverte Christian Church with Mr. Roy Massie, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in Emmanuel Cemetery on Bruffys Creek.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronceverte Christian Church or the Ronceverte Fire Department Christmas Stocking Fund.
