After a long, happy and well-lived life, Nina Ruth Sparks Lanneum, 94, passed away March 13, 2017 peacefully in her sleep and entered heaven to be with her Heavenly Father, her children and all her loved ones who had gone before her.

Born September 9, 1922, at Buckeye, she was a daughter of the late Jonah Roy Sparks and Letha Pringle Sparks.

Nina’s wishes were that her body be cremated.

To honor her wishes, her family will bring her ashes from Texas to West Virginia where a memorial service will be held Saturday, May 27, at 1:30 p.m. at the Ambassadors for Christ Campground Chapel in Huntersville with Pastor Sam Felton officiating. Burial of her ashes will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton.

Ruth will be missed by her numerous family members and friends.
