Robert E. “Bob” Tacy, age 85, passed away January 29, 2018.

Born June 29, 1932, at Cass, he was a son of the late Jesse and Dorothy Tacy.

Following graduation, Bob joined the United States Navy and proudly served on the USS North Hampton. After his service, he returned to West Virginia and married his high school sweetheart, Wanda B. Tacy. The couple moved to Circleville, Ohio, where Bob was employed at GE for 34 years.

He enjoyed the outdoors, and was later known around town as the “Marble Man” for his love of collecting and giving marbles to all he met.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Tacy; and a son, Mark Tacy.

He is survived by a son, Timothy Tacy, of Manchester, Iowa; and many grandchildren and nieces.

Service was held January 31 at Wellman Funeral Home in Circleville.
