Robert Nelson

Robert John Nelson, 27, of Bartow, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Born October 10, 1996, in Ravenna, Ohio, he was a son of the late Johnny C. and Vicki Lynn Nelson.

Robert was a member of the Frank Church of the Nazarene and was a logger for Mick’s Logging, where they were more like family than co-workers. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He loved hanging out with family and friends in his garage working on projects, which usually ended in a party. He never missed a family dinner whether it was a holiday or Sunday dinner. He will always be missed and loved, and we will never forget all the amazing memories he left us.

He is survived by his aunt and uncle, Kenny and Debbie Mick, of Bartow; uncles, Rick Mick and Randy Mick, both of Bartow, and Clinton Mick, of Florida; cousins, Pamela Nelson and Bradley, of Arbovale, Sherry and Terry DeHaven of Durbin, and Joe Mick, of Bartow; and many, many friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Kenny and Debbie Mick’s home at 383 Burner Settlement Road, Bartow. Time to be posted soon.
