Robert Daniel Holbert, Jr., age 74, of Marlinton, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at his home.
Born August 4, 1943, at Parkersburg, he was a son of the late Robert Daniel Holbert, Sr., and Leta Mauree Dewees Holbert.
Robert was a United States Air Force Veteran. He worked in construction as a surveyor and engineer.
He married Carol Ann Rafferty Holbert, July 10, 1971. She preceded him in death, September 15, 2014.
He is survived by a daughter, Leanne Mauree Holbert, of Marlinton; two sons, Robert Daniel Holbert, III, and wife, Lori, of Looney-ville, and James Michael Holbert, of Hillsboro; a sister, Karen Cox, of Knoxville, Tennessee; a brother, Patrick Holbert, of St. Louis, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Levi Holbert, Ivy Holbert and Nevaeh Southern.
Per his request, the body will be cremated.
