Rita Kerr

Rita Kay Wilfong Kerr, age 63, of Marlinton, died Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division in Charleston.
Born May 2, 1953, at Ronceverte, she was a daughter of Hazel Dilley Wilfong, of Marlinton, and the late Delbert Neil Wilfong.
Rita was a nurse aide and was a member of Cooktown Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother Delbert N. Wilfong, Jr., and grandson Mattew Dennis Wilfong.
Rita is survived by her son, Dennis Wilfong, of Oak Hill; a sister, Debbie Church, of Stony Bottom; a brother, David Wilfong, of Thomas-ville, North Carolina; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside service was held Saturday, July 9, 2016, with David McCall officiating. Interment was in Wilfong Cemetery in Marlinton.
Arrangements were handled by VanReenen Funeral Home.
