Rex Miller

Rex White Miller, age 88, of Cass, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at the Tygart Center Nursing Home in Fairmont.

Born April 23, 1929, at Abingdon, Virginia, he was a son of the late Carl and Blanch Denning Miller.

Rex was a United States Army Veteran, and was a Merchant Marine for 30 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donavon Miller and William Miller.

He is survived by a daughter, Polly Hammond, and friend, Don Hise, of Cass; and two grandchildren, William Hammond, and wife, Laura, of Severna Park, Maryland, and Patrick Casey Hammond, and wife, Natasha, of Baltimore, Maryland.

Per his wishes, the body was cremated and no service was held.
