Rebecca Ann Grimes, age 55, of Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Wednesday, April 14, 2016, at her home.

Born August 21, 1960, in Bath County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Kay and Shelby Simmons Grimes.

Rebecca was an operations manager for Safehomes of Covington, Virginia, and was a member of Sharon Volunteer Fire and Rescue.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Cary; a daughter, Deanna Grimes; a brother, Scott Grimes; and a nephew, Lonnie Purdue.

She is survived by two sons, William T. Cary and Michael K. Grimes, both of Clifton Forge, Virginia; a sister, Sandra Purdue, of Dunmore; two grandchildren, Bret Cary and Makayla Cary; and many nieces, nephews, close friends neighbors and family members.

Memorial service was April 20 at Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge, Virginia, with Frank Yost and Rev. Doug Moore officiating.

Memorials may be made to Sharon Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, 3910 Longdale Furnace Road, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
