Ray Mann

Ray Junior Mann, 85, of Marlinton, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025, at his home.

Born October 4, 1939, at Marlinton, he was a son of the late Mack Junior Mann and Ruby Catherine Roby Mann.
Ray was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked as a coal miner for 30 years and was a truck driver. He attended United Pentecostal Church in St. Albans.

On July 1, 1958, he married Barbara Annalee Sutton Mann, who survives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers; and a daughter, Judith Wanless.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Tammy Frances Carper, of Marlinton, and Cynthia Leigh Fields, of Summersville; sons, Michael Burke Mann, of St. Albans, and Timothy Ray Mann, of Teays Valley; sister, Dottie Lou Zieglerich, of Novi, Michigan; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

A graveside service was held at Beaver Creek Cemetery Tuesday, March 4, 2025, with Richard Wanless II officiating.
