This is one of two photographs of the Annual Pocahontas County Horse Show in Hillsboro, W.Va. taken by Nancy Moore McLaughlin, of Huntersville. The digital image seen here was scanned from the original glass negative. The horse show was developed by Edgar and Lee McLaughlin and held on McLaughlin land along US Rt. 219 in the month of August from 1913 through 1915. It was a forerunner to the Pocahontas County Fair.
