This aeriAl view of Clover Lick was photographed by Harvey Bright from the hillside overlooking the town. Clover Lick is located on the Greenbrier River 10 miles north of Marlinton and 2 miles south of Stony Bottom. The post office was established there in 1875. The town began to grow with the coming of the railroad in 1901 and was the site of numerous sawmill operations. The post office closed in 1971. Today the Greenbrier River Trail runs through the town and passes by the train depot which still stands. Courtesy of Ellen Doyle, ID: PHP001734
