Pocahontas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary treasurer Cheryl Cain recently presented a check for $1,300 to hospital CEO Barbara Lay.
Each year the PMH Auxiliary decorates a “Love Light” tree in the reception area with ornaments sold in memory of or to honor loved ones. For the past two years, all money raised from the project has been contributed to the hospital’s Capital Campaign for room improvements.
After receiving a large bequest from the Donald Pethtal Estate in 2013, which funded significant improvements both inside and out, PMH decided to launch a Capital Campaign to keep the momentum going. The hospital hopes to renovate each patient room in the facility. Every contribution helps tremendously in providing healthcare to Pocahontas County’s community members and visitors.
If you are interested in making a contribution or would like more information on Pocahontas Memorial Hospital’s Capital Campaign, please contact the Administration Office at 304-799-1020.
