The Fifth Annual Pocahontas Memorial Hospital Spring Fling was held Saturday evening at the Pocahontas County Opera House. A large crowd attended the event and a fun evening was had by all.
Many thanks go to all those who supported this year’s Spring Fling by attending or purchasing a ticket for the event.  Without the support of so many, the Spring Fling would not be possible.
Sponsors for this year’s event were: Randy and Teresa Sharp, Phil Isner, Bill Beard, Sam Mitchell, LuAnne Creager, Malinda and Jacob Meck and Radiologic Physicians Associates. Door prizes and sodas were donated by: Trent’s Store, Holly Taylor, Mike Garber, Marlinton Wellness Center, C. J. Richardson, Southern States, The Pocahontas Times, Little General, Fast Break, Dairy Queen, Pocahontas IGA, Frostmore Farm, Sunrise Farm, Appalachian Sport and Pocahontas Pharmacy.
Special Occasions by Joyce Doss provided the beautiful decorations and Harriet’s Catering served the fabulous food.
The Spring Fling is a stand-alone event funded entirely by ticket sales as a fundraiser for the PMH Capital Campaign for room renovations. It is completely separate from the day to day operations of the hospital.  All profits after expenses are paid are contributed to the Capital Campaign.
We hope that everyone had a fun-filled evening and will return next year.
