PMH Offers Sports Physicals at RHC

Pocahontas Memorial Hospital is very pleased to be offering sports physicals at no cost to the student through the Rural Health Clinic any day of the week with an appointment.  Sports physicals will also be available on a walk-in basis July 14 during the Annual Youth Health Fair.

Students will not be charged any fees for the sports physicals, however insurance will be billed if applicable.

If you would rather make an appointment for a sports physical than to come during the Youth Health Fair, please call the Rural Health Clinic today for an appointment at 304-799-6200.

Kids of any age are invited to attend the PMH Youth Health Fair July 14 from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

The Youth Health Fair is a day filled with fun, games, prizes, free food, crafts and a helicopter landing.  In addition, special exhibits will be set up to encourage youth to lead a healthy lifestyle with stations focused on things like sun safety, drug prevention, and healthy eating.

Various county organizations will be on hand with information about their services such as the Marlinton Rescue Squad, Pocahontas County Health Department, Birth to Three, and the Pocahontas Prevention Coalition.
