Permilla E. “Peggy” McLaughlin, age 91, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Salem Terrace Nursing Home and Senior Center.
Born March 1, 1924, at the Mouth of Seneca, she was a daughter of the late Walter Glen and Edith Mae Teter Good.
Peggy was a homemaker, a member of the Eastern Star and was of the Presbyterian faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. McLaughlin in 2001; and a grandson, Ryan McLaughlin.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra M. Norman, and husband, Jess, of Salem, Virginia; sons, David F. McLaughlin, and wife, Susie, of Bluffton, South Carolina, and Kevin P. McLaughlin, and wife, Bea, of Chillicothe, Ohio; grandchildren, Leslie Lytle, Christopher McLaughlin, Michael Galliher and Stacy Vaught; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was February 14 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale with Pastor Greg Irby officiating.
