Pocahontas County High School hosted its first ever archery tournament on Sunday afternoon. Forty-eight students in three different age groups competed for the best score and the opportunity to compete in the state archery tournament on March 29 in Charleston. Statewide, the top six teams and the 15 highest scoring male and female archers in each age group will qualify for the state tournament. Qualifying matches throughout the state concluded on March 5.
