Paul Benton Lester, age 75, of Marlinton passed away Monday, June 25, 2018, at his home.
Born July 22, 1942, at Rimel, he was a son of the late Otis and Faye Ryder Lester.
Benton was a laborer in construction, avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy and Curtis Lester.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diana Butler Lester; son, Michael Lester, and wife, Amber, of Mill Point; daughter, Cheryl Truska, and husband, Paul, of Natural Bridge, Virginia; two brothers, James Lester, of Culpeper, Virginia, and Danny Lester, of Marlinton; and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Lester, of Minnehaha Springs.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 28, 7:30 p.m. at Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Pastor Richard Wanless officiating.Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until time of service. Per Benton’s request, the body will be cremated following the service.
