Paul Defibaugh

Paul Burton Defibaugh, Sr., 56, of Marlinton, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022, at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

Born July 15, 1966, at Marlinton, he was a son of the late Roscoe Raymond Defibaugh and Bertha Lea Friel Defibaugh.

Paul attended Pocahontas County High School and was a construction worker.  He loved to tinker with old cars and attend car shows.  He enjoyed riding through the country and spending time with friends.

He is survived by a daughter, Dessie Mae Defibaugh, of Maryland; son, Paul Defibaugh Jr. and Ashley, of South Carolina; sisters, Monda Defibaugh, of Edray, and Alice Irvine, of Frankford; brothers, Dayton Defibaugh and Roland Defibaugh, both of Edray, and Albert Defibaugh and Cindy, of Green Bank; and two grandchildren, Atlas Paul Defibaugh and Laylee Mae Bennett.

Funeral service was held Monday, September 5, 2022, at Kimble Funeral Home in Marlinton with Rev. David Rittenhouse officiating.

Interment was in Clawson Cemetery.
