Norman Wilfong

Norman Lee Wilfong, age 71, of Warren, Ohio, formerly of Mill Point, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Warren, Ohio.

Born June 14, 1944, at Hillsboro, he was a son of the late Ben and Mabel Cobb Wilfong.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Maxwell Dale Wilfong; and two sisters, Joanne Carlton and Nadine Powell.

He is survived by a son, Norman Greer, of Akron, Ohio; a sister, Sharon Estep, of Clarksville, Tennessee; two brothers, Glen Wilfong, of Hopedale, Ohio, and Andrew Wilfong, of Ona; a half-brother, Gene Wilfong, of Buckeye; three half-sisters, Carolyn Wilfong, of Elkins, Leslie Gibson, of Elk Mountain, and Velma Wilfong, of Buckeye; and a special companion, Brenda Ware, of Warren, Ohio.

In keeping with his wishes, the body was cremated.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 2, 1 p.m. at the Sharp Cemetery on Stamping Creek.
