The Pocahontas County Historical Society and Bill Barnett, owner of Anna Wallace’s birthplace, have been working for two years to have a sign honoring Wallace put up at Mill Point. The sign was delivered last week, but $1,000 needs to be raised to complete payment. Anyone who wishes to help can send a check, payable to the Pocahontas County Historical Society, to Bill McNeel, Attn: Anna Wallace Sign Fund, 810 Second Ave., Marlinton WV 24954.
