Michael Dwayne Call, age 47, of Morganton, North Carolina, passed away of natural causes at his home Friday, June 19, 2020.
Born April 18, 1973, in Painesville, Ohio, he was a son of William J. Call and Margaret Taylor Earnest.
His mother, Margaret, was born in Green Bank. Michael lived in North Carolina for the past 16 years.
Michael loved the Lord and enjoyed studying the Bible, cooking, hiking, reading and bowling.
He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his mother’s husband, Henry Earnest, of Lenoir, North Carolina; his father’s wife, Brenda Call, of Gastonia, North Carolina; two sisters, Julie Ward, and husband, Tim, of Lenoir, North Carolina, and Shelley Miller, and husband, Pat, of North Lawrence, Ohio; a brother, Bill Call, and wife, Kathy, of Lenoir, North Carolina; and numerous nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins.
The body was cremated.
A memorial service will be held at a later date for the immediate family.
Some of his remains will be buried in his mother’s family cemetery at Wesley Chapel.
