Mary Wade

Mary Lorine Keyes Rider Wade, age 77, of Neola, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 2, 2014.

Born July 25, 1936, in Bath County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late James and Martha Kershner Keyes.

Mary was an active member of May Chapel United Methodist Church. She was also a proud member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Along with being an active church worker, Mary loved to cook and make rolls.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Norman E. Rider; husband, Warren F. Wade; a son, Curtis L. Rider; a sister, Irene K. Arnold; and two brothers, Buford Keyes and James Keyes.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna S. Aliff, and husband, Conrad, and Bonnie J. Burns, and husband, Carl; grandchildren, Heather I. Willoughby, and husband, David, Curtis W. Cadd, and wife, Teresa, Amy B. Huskey, Addie P. Burns and Patrick Burns; great-grandchildren, Hunter Willoughby, Leslie Cadd and Casey Cline; and a special family member and friend, Lantie Cole, and wife, Juanita.

Funeral service was January 6 at Shanklin Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs with Pastor Gerald Roberts officiating. Interment was in Mountain Grove Cemetery in Mountain Grove, Virginia.
