Mary Sharp

Mary Margaret Tacy Sharp, age 76, of Buckhannon, died Monday, November 25, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon.

Born January 28, 1937, at Cass, she was a daughter of the late Ollie and Rella Cassel Tacy.

Mary was a seamstress, also a member of the Way of Holiness Church in Buckhannon and a member of the Red Hats; and she loved to make cards.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis M. Sharp and Joseph N. Sharp.

She is survived by her husband, Sanford Sharp, whom she married August 13, 1953; two sons Robert Sharp, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and David L. Sharp, and wife, Sonia, of Buffalo, New York; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dallas “Jack” Tacy, and wife, Ruth, and Charles Tacy, and wife, Louise, all of Buckhannon; one sister, Judy Spear, and husband, Harold, of Bartow; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was November 30 at the Way of Holiness Church with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery in Marlinton.
