It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 58th Pioneer Days Festival.

The years roll around quickly.

The Pioneer Days Festival is always a good time to meet with old friends and make some new ones.

This year, while visiting the old and familiar, you will notice new places to shop and dine.

Try them all.

You won’t be sorry.

Most folks understand the uniqueness of our region. If you are new to the area, take time to learn about the many attractions in Pocahontas County – the Green Bank Telescope, Cass and Durbin Scenic Railroads, Cranberry Glades and Nature Center, Watoga, Droop Mountain Battlefield and Beartown state parks, just to name a few.

No doubt, after you experience our mountain air, the area’s climate and tradition of friendly hospitality, you will want to return again and again.

Do some shopping, visit a restaurant or take a walk or bike ride on the Greenbrier River Trail.

These are just a few of the great ways to take in the sights and sounds of small-town life.
