This is America. We can believe what we want to believe.
Those who read the Holy Bible are called to know the truth, and the truth makes us free, and Freedom of Choice is what America is all about.
The issue in our day is that there are many options. Still, we should do our best to seek out the truth so we make the right decisions. It is in our own best interests to go slow, survey possibilities, and be very deliberate in considering the best options (to the best of our abilities) and move on.
Last Thursday, several Beard Heights residents realized they had been led to believe – at best an exaggeration or fabrication of facts. There will always be more than one option.
The Town is not being shortsighted to consider the Beard Heights water and sewer systems as resources for future development.
One resident said, when compared to what he had been told, “It just sounded like more fake news.”
I will just leave it at that.
It is in our own best interests to go slow, survey possibilities, consider the best options – to the best of our abilities.
Move beyond more fake news.
