The Marlinton High School Class of 1954 descended on the Marlinton Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall to the rousing MHS Fight Song for its 62nd reunion.
Twenty classmates and six spouses were in attendance. Nine classmates were unable to attend. We began with coffee and doughnuts, and a review of the memory board of 25 of our deceased classmates.
A lovely brunch was cater-ed by Harriet Faulkiner, and the class picture was taken by Heather Simmons.
After much socializing and discussion – and after 10 reunions – it was decided to not have a reunion next year.
In three years we will have our 65th reunion. It’s hard to keep the MHS Class of 1954 down.
