Mark Taylor

Mark Anthony “Tony” Taylor, age 60, formerly of Dunmore, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016, at his home.

Born January 23, 1956, in Painesville, Ohio, he was a son of the late William O. and Margaret Barnhouse Taylor.

Mark was a 1975 graduate of Pocahontas County High School. He was a United States Army Veteran, and had worked at Walmart in Culpeper, Virginia.

He is survived by his daughters, Morgan Bryant, of Marlinton, and Brooke Murphy, of Green Bank; a son, Derek Taylor, or Green Bank; five grandchildren; three sisters, Roberta Armstrong, of Beckley, Christine Collins, of Jenkinsburg, Georgia, and Barbara Wilfong, of Marlinton; and brothers, Carl D. Taylor, of Madison, Virginia, and William O. Taylor, Jr., of Eaton, Ohio.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 5, 1 p.m. at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Dunmore with Pastor David Fuller officiating, and Military Rites by the Pocahontas County Veterans Honor Corps.
