Margaret Thomas

Margaret “Peggy” Thomas, age 84, of Temperance, Michigan, died Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Ebeid Hospice Residence.

Born July 2, 1932, in Buckhannon, she was a daughter of the late Van and Elise Lucille Simpson Poage.

Peggy was owner of Thyme & More Gift Store at the Schoolhouse Commons in Lambertville, Michigan, for 30 years. She had served on the Monroe County Mental Health Board, was chair of the Bedford Township Bicentennial committee and enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ralph Thomas and Richard Thomas; and two grandchildren, Jeff and Kelly.

She is survived by her loving children, Robi Thomas, Randy Thomas and Kelly Barnett, and Phillip Thomas, and Kristine; grandchildren, Lisa, Danielle, Trent, Adrienne, CeAnn and Makensi; and great-grandchildren, Dylan, Jonathan, Alexa, Sophia and Liam.

Memorials may be made to Promedica Hospice.
