According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Zachery Chighizola, 21, of Marlinton, appeared in court February 26 on charges of assault on a government employee and/or medical personnel and disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $2,500.

Benjamin Allen Stone, 39, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, appeared in court February 26 on charges of driving under the influence, with alcohol concentration in blood greater than or equal to .15 and no certificate of insurance. Bond was set at $1,000.

Catherine Lorraine McDaniels, 37, of Marlinton, appeared in court February 23 on three counts of fraud and related activity in connection with access devices. Bond was set at $10,000.

Leonard Pruitt, 29, of Belington, appeared in court February 19 on a charge of domestic battery or domestic assault, third offense. Bond was set at $10,000.

Harold Turner, 60, of Marlinton, appeared in court February 26 on a charge of illegal acquisition of cable television services, first offense. Bond was set at $500.

In Magistrate Carrie Wilfong’s court:

Shawn Wayne Barb, 26, of Buckeye, pleaded guilty February 19 to a charge of motorcycle drivers must be licensed. He was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.

Amber Nicole Morris, 28, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty February 20 to a charge of speeding. She was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.
