According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Little Ben Shue, 61, of Hillsboro, appeared in court December 2 on a charge of malicious or unlawful assault, wounding. Bond was set at $5,000.

Christopher Franklin Alvaro, 53, of Marlinton, appeared in court December 7 on a charge of person prohibited from possession of firearms less than one year after conviction. Bond was set at $1,000.

Donna Lynn Byrd, 50, of Marlinton, appeared in court December 4 on a charge of driving under the influence with an alcohol concentration less than .15. Bond was set at $500.

Brian W. Long, age unavailable, of Arbovale, appeared in court December 4 on charges of domestic battery, domestic assault and destruction of property. Bond was set at $1,500.

Luther Earle Pritt, 44, of Marlinton, appeared in court December 3 on a charge of violating a protective order. Bond was set at $2,000.

Ryan Matthew Anderson, 19, of Arbovale, appeared in court December 7 on charges of destruction of property, reckless driving and trespassing. Bond was set at $1,500.

Franklin J. Biggs, 53, of Valley Head, appeared in court December 7 on charges of petit larceny and obtaining money, property or services by false pretenses. Bond was set at $5,000.

Cody Wayne Brouwer, 21, of Marlinton, appeared in court December 7 on charges of destruction of property, reckless driving and trespassing. Bond was set at $1,500.

Danielle Lee Smith, 26, of Marlinton, appeared in court December 4 on a charge of driving while license is suspended/revoked. Bond was set at $500.

In Magistrate Cynthia Broce Kelley’s court:

Shawn Wayne Barb, 26, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty December 4 to charges of no operator’s and reckless driving. He was assessed $330.50 in court costs and fines.

Zachery Chighizola, 21, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty December 1 to a charge of possession of paraphernalia. He was assessed $265.25 in court costs and fines.

Delta Dawn Queen, 26, of Arbovale, pleaded guilty December 1 to a charge of speeding. She was assessed $185.25 in court costs and fines.

In Magistrate Carrie Wilfong’s court:

Billy Boyd Bishop, 45, of Maben, pleaded guilty December 3 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.

Michael Ross King, 54, of Webster Springs, pleaded guilty December 7 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.

Roger Murray, 50, of Lewisburg, pleaded no contest December 3 to a charge of failure to wear required attire for deer hunters. He was assessed $170.25 in court costs and fines.

Laura Elizabeth Watson, 30, of Bartow, pleaded guilty November 30 to a charge of driving while license suspended/revoked. She was assessed $365.25 in court costs and fines.
