Bond was set at $2,100.\r\n\r\nSammy A. Sheets, 48, of Marlinton, appeared in court November 18 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $500.\r\n\r\nChristian Page Haney, 21, of Hillsboro, appeared in court November 20 on a charge of conspiracy to commit a felony. Bond was set at $10,000.\r\n\r\nIn Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley\u2019s court:\r\n\r\nChristopher Wayne Barb, 30, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty November 18 to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was assessed $165.25 in court costs and fines.\r\n\r\nA charge of malicious or unlawful assault, wounding, against Ernest Frank Hardy, III, 39, of Mount Olive, was transferred to Circuit Court November 17. He was assessed $10 in court costs.\r\n\r\nIn Magistrate Carrie Wilfong\u2019s court:\r\n\r\nLuis Felipe Rivera, 22, of Bartow, pleaded guilty November 17 to a charge of left of center. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs.\r\n\r\nTimmy H. Alderman, 58, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty November 13 to a charge of failure to maintain control. He was assessed $265.25 in court costs and fines.\r\n\r\nLuca Jovy Byrd, 23, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty November 17 to a charge of failure to check game (deer). He was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.
