Earl Adkins, Jr., 45, of Hillsboro, appeared in court November 22 on a charge of driving under the influence, third or subsequent offense. Bond was set at $5,000.
Joshua Lee Kimble, age unavailable, appeared in court November 18 on charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, driving while license revoked for DUI, speeding and possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $2,100.
Sammy A. Sheets, 48, of Marlinton, appeared in court November 18 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $500.
Christian Page Haney, 21, of Hillsboro, appeared in court November 20 on a charge of conspiracy to commit a felony. Bond was set at $10,000.
In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:
Christopher Wayne Barb, 30, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty November 18 to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was assessed $165.25 in court costs and fines.
A charge of malicious or unlawful assault, wounding, against Ernest Frank Hardy, III, 39, of Mount Olive, was transferred to Circuit Court November 17. He was assessed $10 in court costs.
In Magistrate Carrie Wilfong’s court:
Luis Felipe Rivera, 22, of Bartow, pleaded guilty November 17 to a charge of left of center. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs.
Timmy H. Alderman, 58, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty November 13 to a charge of failure to maintain control. He was assessed $265.25 in court costs and fines.
Luca Jovy Byrd, 23, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty November 17 to a charge of failure to check game (deer). He was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.
