According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Sandra Hill, 48, of Marlinton, appeared in court February 13 on a charge of obtaining money, property or services by false pretenses. Bond was set at $10,000.

Elmer Lee Tincher, III, 33, of Marlinton, appeared in court February 11 to a charge of driving while license is suspended/revoked. Bond was set at $500.

Christopher Jordan Johns, 18, of Marlinton, appeared in court February 15 on charges of obstructing an officer, possession of nonintoxicating beer and failure to stop/yield right of way. Bond was set at $1,100.

In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:

Joseph E. Schott, 34, of Woodbridge, Virginia, pleaded guilty February 12 to a charge of possession of less than 15 grams of marijuana. He was assessed $165.25 in court costs and fines, and placed on six months probation.

Daniel C. Good, 24, of Durbin, pleaded guilty February 11 to a charge of entry upon closed lands. He was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.

Chelsea Marie Ridenour, 26, of Lapeer, Michigan, pleaded guilty to a charge of speeding. She was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.

Jonathan Carl Shearer, 26, of Marlinton, appeared in court February 20 on charges of two counts, no valid driver’s license. Bond was set at $1,000. He pleaded guilty to a charge of no operator’s. He was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.

In Magistrate Carrie Wilfong’s court:

Clarence Perry, 58, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty February 19 to a charge of violating a protective order. He was sentenced to 10 days jail, 10 days home confinement, 10 days Day Report and assessed $415.25 in court costs and fines.
