According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Jonathan Royal, 52, of Cass, appeared in court February 2 on two counts of person prohibited to possess a firearm. Bond was set at $20,000.

Tabitha Dawn Roberts, 32, of Durbin, appeared in court January 29 on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $500.

Gilberto Santana Rivera, 46, of Durbin, appeared in court February 2 on charges of domestic battery and obstructing an officer. Bond was set at $1,000.

In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:

Nathan Henry Sturgell, 55, of Ronceverte, pleaded guilty January 12 to a charge of driving under the influence, second offense. He was sentenced to six months unsupervised probation, six months suspended jail and assessed $1,420.25 in court costs and fines.

Kenneth Lee Summerfield, 52, of Dunmore, pleaded guilty January 12 to a charge of driving under the influence. He was assessed $485.25 in court costs and fines.

In Magistrate Carrie Wilfong’s court:

Ryan James Whitlock, 20, of Hico, pleaded guilty January 28 to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was assessed $165.25 court costs and fines.

Zechariah John Chittum, 40, of West Palm Beach, Florida, pleaded guilty January 22 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed $265.25 in court costs and fines.

Coty S. Halterman, 24, of Cass, was found guilty January 26 of reckless driving. He was assessed $301.55 in court costs and fines.
