According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Christopher Lane Rose, 47, of Summersville, appeared in court December 5 on a charge of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian to a child. Bond was set at $20,000.

In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:

Justin Wayne Arbogast, 26, of Buckeye, pleaded guilty December 1 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.

Dennis M. Spangler, 43, of Beckley, pleaded guilty December 5 to a charge of shooting across a road or near a building. He was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.

Charles E. Shelton, II, 49, of Fayetteville, pleaded guilty December 5 to a charge of shooting across a road or near a building. He was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.

In Magistrate Carrie Wilfong’s court:

Destiny June Beverage, 26, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty December 2 to a charge of using cell phone while driving. She was assessed $100 in court costs and fines.
