According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Angela Kay Higginbotham, 44, of Leon, appeared in court October 22 on a charge of obtaining money, property or services by false pretenses. Bond was set at $10,000.

Avery A. Hambrick, III, 22, of Hillsboro, appeared in court October 23 on charges of sexual assault second degree, sexual assault third degree with person less than sixteen years old; and driving while license is suspended/revoked. Bond was set at $80,000.

Rhonda Marie Day, age unavailable, of Hillsboro, appeared in court October 26 on a charge of manufacturing a Schedule IV substance. Bond was set at $15,000.

Ashley Nicole Good, 18, of Buckeye, pleaded guilty October 21 to a charge of registration violation. She was assessed $185.25 in court costs and fines.

Daniel C. Good, 24, of Durbin, pleaded guilty October 21 to two counts of registration violation. He was assessed $205.25 in court costs and fines.

Joy E. Hammons, 38, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest October 24 to a charge of sale or gift of cigarettes to a person under the age of 18. She was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.

Courtney Dawn Combs, 19, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty October 27 to a charge of possession of alcohol by a minor. She was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.

Kaitlin Brooke Warf, 20, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty October 27 to a charge of possession of alcohol by a minor. She was assessed $215.25 in court costs.
