According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Jeremy Fitzgerald, 29, of Cass, appeared in court May 23 on charges of wanton endangerment involving fire-arm, burning personal property – third degree arson, conspiracy, obstructing rescue workers, shooting across the road or near a building, burning tires, obstructing/resisting an officer and brandishing a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $580,000.

Joshua S. Fitzgerald, age unavailable, of Marlinton, appeared in court May 23 on charges of obstructing rescue workers, conspiracy, person prohibited from possessing firearm and brandishing a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $310,000.

Dewey Ray Grizzel, 48, of Renick, appeared in court May 25 on a charge of DUI, commercial driver. Bond was set at $500.

Kevin Wayne Phillips, Jr., 18, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty May 27 to a charge of unlawful acts by person under the age of 21. He was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.

Daniel Clark Kellison, 44, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty May 27 to a charge of shooting across a road or near a building. He was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.

Jonathan Davis, 28, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty May 30 to a charge of registration violation. He was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.

Coty S. Halterman, 23, of Cass, appeared in court May 30 on a charge of improper right turn. Bond was set at $100.

Teresa Nicole Schoolcraft, 29, of Buckeye, appeared in court May 31 on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $500.
